Mint Ice Menthol Cream v. (Meißner Tremonia) minty eucalyptus
Shave 11 ・ 61% left

Mint and eucalyptus. If you ever want to chase geckos out of your house, these two scents will do the job. The little lizards hate these smells. Luckily, I love them, and I love them together. Add a big pinch of menthol, and you’ve not only got a great bug repellant, you’ve also got a first-rate scent for a shaving cream. Today I lathered up thick and heavy with this pungent soap, so tonight you know I’ll be sleeping sound, confident that no little critters will be scampering over my mug.

That's very interesting because my Indian Flavour doesn't do this but my Himalayan Heights does exactly what you have described.  Although you have a great point regarding creams and tubes, I still LOVE hearing the sound of that MT glass jar being opened/closed Smile

For some reason, this scent seems "cooling" to me.  Since the weather today called for 90 degrees with high humidity and I was going to be sitting on an open soccer field with the sun beating down on me all afternoon, I thought this would be the way to go.  Was I right?  No!  The way to go was to continuously soak a towel in ice water and drape it over my head.  Next weekend maybe I will wise up and do my shower/shave after the game.  Keep cool everyone!

I believe Douro became Castile (or vice versa... same scent, they changed the name)... and there was a Douro tallow soap.
I believe you bought it from me.

Oops, Lords became Douro. (and I believe you bought the Lords soap from me)

So, no there never was a Castile tallow soap (under any name).

I purchased this puck of Mikes Lime probably 5 years ago.  It’s half gone but the scent is still very much a citrus lime.  Always a great lather with Miles.

A custom made Ethos Colonia in F base.
I’m traveling and it’ll be my one and only only soap till November….
In fact…it’s serving double duty…using a thin layer of it rubbed in by hand as a pre-shave..Works excellent in this role btw..
I didn’t take the choice of the one soap to bring lightly....
Why this one?
Outstanding performance on all dimensions, a wonderful scent I never tire of…
And it’s quite hard so it will definitely last the duration or perhaps longer…

A&E Tabac Vanille

Rarely, almost never do I go to the same soap 2 days in a row. Couldn't resist this stuff. Thx Nero

Driving back from Colorado - spent the night in Amarillo. Great downtown bar scene. Apricot Hefenweissen was flowing. Added benefit: Amarillo at over 3000 feet in elevation so it cools down at night - under 80 degrees!
