Catie's Bubble - The Royal Garden  This is my scented soap for the month of June.  It might not set your world on fire but it's a very nice scent.  Rose is mentioned on the tub so those that maybe don't have a great fondness for it might call it a rose bomb and those looking for something rose forward might be left wanting.  I don't get a lot of Pine or orange which is fine but the citrus is certainly there I suppose it keeps the Mint and Eucalyptus from maybe smelling too medicinal.  Based on the scent notes possibly a take on Creed's Royal Mayfair?  I don't have the splash to compare to the soap unfortunately I think PAA does something with this scent as well with Doppelganger Gold.

A&E "Asian Plum" is hands down my wife's favorite scent out of everything I have. It's also one of my favorites.

Some of his soaps use various formulas not just scents. I currently own 6 of his products and I like them all.  Soap or cream it does not make a difference.
Thanks! Good to hear that.

It's possible his Cream soap may be a little slicker maybe in the same way some find the Stirling Sheep vs the Beef tallow. I'm not sure I see much of a difference in either but I usually get my soaps pretty wet so never any real issues. I'm not sure where Catie's ranks in terms of post shave but being a French style I assume others may be higher. I wouldn't be much help with that just not my thing once I wash off I'm done with the scent and the butters. I prefer to use Cerave Heavy Cream for my post shave which is Dr. Dray recommended as well since Mr. BP Man mentioned her in the face wash thread. Smile)

The scent is light and airy but so very good.  This is the second go-round for the rose and it seems Rose scent, like in nature, is fleeting.  Performance?  Be careful of your brush or it’ll become a missile with this slickness.  Frankly, as time passes I rather enjoy a muted scent.  Used to be I preferred bolder, and often still do, but soft is ok too.  And the face feel?  Dude, this is a great big face hug.

Glad you're enjoying it! It is an excellent performing cream.
It seems this recent lot to hit the bay is much more muted in scent than the ones I have from a few years ago. Those were full and juicy, whereas the ones we just got are light and airy as you accurate depict.
Happy to have both... Nothing like having a couple excellent options!

Floris Elite soap (current formula)

This scent is made for a nice warm summer night, one where you're going out for a night on the town all dressed up... NOT what's happening here tonight I assure you, but I can smell elegant in the comfort of home just the same. Beautiful stuff. Great shave. Loaded longer and face-lathered longer than normal, just to spend some time with it. Relaxation? Check.

Strong ’n Scottish v. (Meißner Tremonia) smoky whisky

Still smarting with disappointment over the demise of L’Occitane’s Cade cream, I went digging through my stash looking for something good and smoky. Was I ever rewarded (and consoled). Strong ’n Scottish is a smoke bomb. It outreeks even Salter’s French Vetiver. It smells like wet peat and ashes with some juniper thrown in. It’s not a scent everyone will enjoy, but if you like to spend your day in a phenolic haze, this one’s for you.
