Mogno v. (Ach. Brito) sea wood
Mogno smells rich, old-fashioned, and just plain elegant. The word mogno is Portuguese for 'mahogany', and we know what that wood is used for: executive board rooms, fine furniture, and lush cabins on private yachts. You get the idea, this soap was made to make you smell like a million bucks. It really is gorgeous from its bright bergamot top right down to its mossy and patchouli base notes, and of course there are plenty of woody and salty notes in between. Give Mogno extra snaps for the strength of its fragrance. It easily hides the feral pong of my boar brush. This one’s a winner.
