Rose v. (Martin de Candre)
Though the rose is coming out more and more with each use, I still like to add a little perfume to this soap right before I lather it. Rose is a wonderful scent. Made up of over five hundred notes, it goes with just about anything (except peanut butter). So each day I pull another bottle of cologne off the shelf and give this jar of Rose soap a few spritzes. So far Habit Rouge has made the best smelling lather. But today’s Mitsouko is no slacker, either. Lots of oak moss gives the scent of the lather some ballast, and all that labdanum keeps you smelling nice all morning long. Mitsouko also features a peach note that’s quite famous. Creamy and fruity, it works especially well with the soap’s native rose. So what if you had to steal the Mitsouko from your wife's side of the cabinet. Spray it on your hairy chest. You'll love yourself in about an hour.
