One of the wonderful "RazoRock Super Tallow Formula" soaps.
I find that the scent seems vaguely "nutty". It reminds me a bit of Saponificio Varesino's Stella Alpina.
RazoRock's description goes: "The best way to describe For Chicago's scent is masculine floral. It has a clean mandarin/citrus top note with some 'white floral' (jasmine/gardenia) and amber mid notes. There is a small amount of wood, leather, and powderiness to the dry down."
Sure, whatev.
It's pleasant, and a change from many of my other soaps.
Agreed 100% and NOT because I’m from the CHI

Rose v. (Martin de Candre)

We’ve all read threads dedicated to using one soap for an entire month. Those men are monsters of self-discipline. I don’t have the backbone to do it. And I’ve read about shavers using one soap for an entire week, but I can’t manage that either. At best, I go three days with a soap before I feel the urge to try something new. But this month I’m going to try something different, sort of a soap of the month with training wheels: Every other day I’ll lather this jar of Martin de Candre Rose. It really is a fabulous soap, and now that I’ve figured out how to scent it, I’m really happy to use it a lot. On the off days, when I’m not using Rose, I’ll grab a different soap off the shelf. This way I hope to have a ‘soap of the month’ and a good bit of variety, too.
