What soap/cream did you use today?

Great first shave with this soap, which deserves better packaging, but in no way will its current lack thereof deter me from using it.

Lip and Nero : da da da on the French Vetiver [cream tea good stuff]. I do like their Wild Rose cream.

Nero-does the employ tallow? Wonder what flavors one can buy /try now? I prefer the hard tallow based puck-and it looks like i have another target

CrowneAndCrane has become my go-to for bath soaps but they have a great shave soap as well.  The Dragon Blood scent is one my favorite C&C offerings - now if only we can talk them into doing their "Night" scent as a shave soap

MdC Original


MdC for me is amazing. The lather shown on my hand in the pic is after a quick 10 second load. This puck will outlive me!
The old argument about expense is really obviated because of the pucks 'endurance' and short loading quality. The jar is huge and jam packed with hard puck shaving loveliness.

SV Cubebe plays well with the odd scent [accurately noted by Bouki as 'burnt rubber' ] of the MdC Original . I like the glass jar, size etc. I guess I am an MdC fanboy. Only complaint is post is drying. I don't care - I balm after every shave anyway.
