The more I use this soap, the more I like it. This soap's protection is among the very best. A heavy load and lots of water make HoosierShave-worthy lather, and that keeps irritation at bay, even on the hot and muggy days. And the scent? I tried to stay away from it for two days, but after only one morning without that fresh fragrance, I was dipping my brush back into the Royal Fougère. Looks like I've found a friend for the summer.

It's definitely a goodie! Some would say the cream version is even better.

First timer with a Noble Otter offering and first time with a synthetic coolant.  Orbit scent is pretty nice.  Eucalyptus, Rose, cedar, sandalwood and vetiver fill the house.  The rose is present.  The cedar is there.  Eucalyptus and cedar seem to make a conifer scent but no “spa” vibe.  Sandalwood and vetiver must be playing quietly at the back of the stage because I don’t notice them.  The soap is semi soft and seems like it was put though a potato ricer.  Different than I have ever seen.  Lather comes easy and when applied the coolant becomes more and more noticeable pass to pass. Slickness, water holding ability, pleasant and present scent, all meet expectations but this soap for me is all about the coolant.  Koolada-23 has no mint smell and seems to last longer than menthol.  Noble Otter has a very responsible level set on this soap.  Oddly, the cool doesn’t hit hard like natural menthol but it sure is noticeable and on rinsing it really shines.  30 minutes post and it’s still around.  And unlike natural menthol that always adds the minty Scent, this one doesn’t affect the accord at all.  Very nice.
