How about you, TommyCarioca; you've sampled a few soaps in your time. Do you have a favorite?
I do Bouki. Fine Santalo with pre de provence 63 and SMN Cream right behind. Performance is solid [hard pux] but oh my the scent /fragrance on the Fine! Very similar to the old tallow AOS as i understand from Lipripper.

Oh yes it is!  Fine Santal Absolut is a dead ringer for current AOS Sandalwood and VERY close to old tallow.  This has a touch of anise that I actually like a lot.  And Bouki, Mikes Hungarian is just awesome.

How about it, Lipripper660, do you have a favorite soap? (I think I know the answer!)

I do indeed and as you would guess the AOS (valobra) Sandalwood takes that honor.  Not just scent but performance too.  I will say however that Sir Henrys Sandalwood is a close 2nd.

5 days on the Middle Fork of the Salmon River running whitewater in my raft.  This time I took no shaving gear.  Sure felt great jerking those whiskers off and my logical choice was DG Darkfall.  Great soap with an outdoorsy vibe.  (Fantastic trip should you care to know).
