Rosa Bourbon t. (Eufros) premium rose
The unprepossessing label belies one of the best rose aromas in all shaverdom. Rosa Bourbon smells as close to a real rose as anything on my shelf. It's strong, too, filling the entire room with its deep rosy scent. Though I've had it for years, age has not dimmed its richness. And the lather is just as lavish. Eufros's tallow soaps take water by the bucket and produce an oozy, thick emulsion that tames the sharpest blades and guarantees a comfortable shave.

Mikes Natural has quietly Stayed relevant through all this super-fatted, donkey milking, Argan oiling, silk protein fueled soap races. With all the fantastic soaps available these days, Mikes in my experience, can and does hang with all of them. Supply is spotty. Packaging is uninspired. Marketing is zero. Yet the darn stuff works so well. Hungarian Lavender this morning and although my can is showing its age, this is still a wonderful lavender and performance hasn’t lost a step.
