Opuntia v. (Saponificio Varesino) Aventus without the leather

Thanks to Lipripper660 for telling me about making a menthol mill. With this tidy little gizmo you can give any soap just the right amount of nip, from spring mornings in the South to bone-rattling Siberian winter. All it takes is a cheap pepper grinder and a pack of menthol crystals. The mill pulverizes the crystals fine or coarse to your liking. Just grind them over your soap and add a dash of water. Most days four or five twists is perfect. It may take a few minutes for the menthol dust to dissolve, so give yourself a good long lathering and enjoy the chill.

One of the best Lavenders in my fairly extensive lavender collection.  This one is more,"whole plant" than just floral.  And the Mikes performs.

Amen! Mike's is definitely a standard for performance (and a miracle for it's price, lol).

Last night's shave I used Mike's Bay Rum.

I was testing a new pack of BIC blades which I wanted to be certain wasn't an issue. While I'm doing a themed month for spring type scents, I needed to divert from that to use a soap I KNEW wouldn't cause any issues. Mike's is protective, slick, with good post shave and almost 100% guaranteed no irritation (from it's ingredients).

I wish Mike would expand the scents, as the two I've tried so far have been very muted and basic. That may be exactly what keeps it's safe, though. I'll be able to report soon on the coconut, which is due to arrive next week.
