Stirling Ben Franklin doesn't smell like root beer to me but my family thinks it does. It smells like benzoin to me. Great scent. Great performance.

Marshlands t. (L&L Grooming) vetiver & nutmeg

Marshlands offers a sweet peanuty vetiver dusted with nutmeg and a pinch of celery seed. It may not be more than just vetiveryl acetate. It's a little synthetic, but it reminds me of vintage Guerlain Vetiver. This puck is nearly four years old, so the bergamot and even the oakmoss mentioned on the label have flown. Pity that L&L/Declaration Grooming stopped making it.
