No. 88 t. (Czech & Speake) rose, plumeria, vetiver, sandalwood

The plumerias in the front yard are coming back into bloom. Every day from now until November they'll shower the lawn with a fragrant blanket of blossoms. A shave with No. 88 seemed like a perfect way to inaugurate the season. It's is a heady blend of rose and plumeria supported by some nice vetiver. As an eau de toilet, this fragrance is notoriously loud, but the soap is soft spoken and polite – just right for a bright spring morning.

Art of Shaving Rose Absolute shaving cream (vintage).  It has hardened into a soft soap, but it still smells great.

Loaded for about 20 seconds from a dry puck with a lightly damp 25mm tuxedo - added 5-6 drops of water and continued to load for another 20 seconds - face-painted for 2-3 minutes then dipped about 25% of the knot in sink water and continued face-painting for 2-3 minutes - dipped/face-lathered for 2-3 minutes another four times

I absolutely LOVE the scent of Elan and it paired so well with CL Colbeck...
