Agrumes v. (Martin de Candre) citrus
You can order Martin de Candre soap in tiny 50g jars. They're impossible to load from with anything larger than a toothbrush, so scoop the soap into the vessel of your choice and lather up. You can figure on getting between 60 and 70 shaves from this little jarlet, making this a fairly expensive way to sample Martin de Candre. But on the upside, you will probably see the bottom of your bowl some day – something I'm not sure you will ever see in your big tubs of Martin de Candre.

Tcheon Fung Sing - TFS Ginestra
Full disclosure - I enjoy the floral scent family. Rose, geranium, honeysuckle, magnolia, etc... I grew up in the south and appreciate the memories those evoke.
This puck is saved for those special perfect weather days. It is not too sweet, and though I prefer tallow based soaps - this is a great performer. I have 2 or 3 backup pucks. May not be enough!
The Scottish Broom flower is at the center of the fragrance. Not many afs/edt's have this in the heart, but SMN and Amouage Opus III do and work well.
Sad though, the patchouli, vetiver, amber based fragrances are getting pushed back in the den now per the weather.
See you soon
