Interesting. I do not consider AdP difficult to load. Do you have hard water? Are you face lathering? Type of brush?
I don't think my water is particularly hard. Likely medium. I don't usually run into trouble lathering the many soaps and creams I've tried. So far I've used both my Shavemac and Thater 3-band silvertips with AdP, my Semogue 620, and my Plisson synthetic. I wouldn't say that loading itself is difficult, but rather judging how much I need and then getting the water incorporated properly. It isn't jumping to a creamy phase readily the way almost everything else I've tried does (okay, apart from maybe MWF). I tend to get it to something that is slick, but has almost a gel-like quality. Not sure how to describe it otherwise. But I think the first time I loaded to little, then overcompensated next time with too much, and now I'm back to too little. Not sure why this one is proving so tricky for me.
