I really like this soap.  I face lather with this one and it has great performance.  In addition, it cost $19.95 for 8.5 ounces.  $2.34 per ounce.

New soap this morning.  Mammoth Clean is stated to smell like laundry.  Well, if laundry smells like this I need to change laundry soaps.  This is a very nice aqua with cucumber sitting right in there.  It claims to have vetiver but it must be playing a bit part because I sure don't pick it up.  Scent strength is about a 5/10 but it stays very pleasantly noticable though the shave.  Slick and protective and .......clean.  Nice soap.nice post.[Image: nUtNnbh.jpg]

Wow, a lightly scented aqua and cucumber smell? That sounds awesome.

I knew they were sizably more expensive than other RR soaps but I didn't know the size... That's a big container. How's the scent?

Ok, today's reviews are doing nothing good for my urge to shop. Lol.

Not sure what it is exactly about Declaration’s bison tallow soap, but it is just the perfect match for my skin. Never had an even remotely poor shave with any of mine. On the contrary, every time I use one, I’m flabbergasted by the quality of the soap, and thus the shave.

Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

Vigorous palm lathering whips up a nice vegetal lather, but I’m surprised that it’s not as dense and heavy as the lathers I get from LPL’s other premium soaps, Vetiver and Oud Neroli. I wonder if there’s something in the rose oil that thwarts the making of a superlative lather. Don’t get me wrong. RdP works well. It's plenty slick and I like the clean, plump finish. But the lather itself is just not quite on the same rung as some of the other recent LPL offerings. I’ll give it one more day, since we’ve seen these LPL soaps improve their performance with continued use.
