Cèdre-Orange v. (Le Père Lucien) cedar & orange

I lathered this today with a very wet boar brush (aka, the 'Marco Method') and got splendid results, better even than when I came at it with a damp brush. Either way, damp or drenched, the brush gets 60 seconds of loading. But the wet brush makes a lot more lather, and that lather is considerably slicker. Up till now I've been a dry brush shaver, but I just might have to change my ways.

Interesting observation. I too have found the wet brush (Marco method) useful. Some soaps just respond best to the method. I seldom use just a damp brush anymore and think it might be due to the amount of soap I need to load in my hard water. I also think a wetter brush forces me to load longer and I feel longer loading is the cure for most soap performance issues. I sure dig your observations Bouki. Thanks for posting.

My first experience with JabonMan product. Though for the last week I was using La Toja stick. LT is, IMHO, better.
