I'm on a Wet Shaving Products kick right now and figure I'll run through the 5 or so I have. Today was Formula T Barbershop which by the way, I like the scent of very much. WSP states they start with a base of powdery musk then add bergamot, orange zest, oak moss, patchouli, and geranium. I get the powder but the front notes are mostly citrus. (I like citrus a lot). This is not a traditional barbershop in the vein of Clubman but is bright and "springy". This one reminds me of Local Gent California Barber because of the citrus-forward accord. Strength is about 7/10 and fades a bit during the shave. Still very pleasant and although there is a few minutes of lingering scent after final rinsing it will not interfere with your chosen fragrance. (I chose whiskey Woods for the finish). I'm pretty fussy about Barbershop scents and find most polarizing for me. Either I don't care for them or they are stellar. They one is in the latter category. Performance is no surprise. I find it slick and cushioning and sort of a mid-structure lather that'll let you whip up great mounds of merengue or keep it lower structure for the yogurt-loving guy.

Oud-Santal t. (Le Père Lucien) oud & sandalwood

I get hung up on the cost of this hobby sometimes. Looking for ways to get full value out of the items I've ordered from around the world, I tend to use the highest priced soaps again and again, even though they may not always be the best. Oud-Santal, for instance, didn't come cheap and it doesn't make the best suds, but still I feel obligated to use it at least once a month. After twenty shaves, though, there's hardly a dent in the puck. I reckon there are at least two-hundred shaves left in the tub. That means each lather will cost about a quarter. When I look at things this way, I don't feel too bad that the mail lady just dropped another tub of soap in my box. Now I just need to figure out how to live long enough to use it all up.
