Olfactory Hue (Cold River Soap Works) agarwood, olibanum, sandalwood
If you like Japanese incense, you really should try this Olfactory Hue. It smells remarkably like Minorien's Fu-in sandalwood incense: wet, earthy, rooty, old mountain sandal laced with aloeswood and olibanum. As with many Japanese incenses, the intensity of Olfactory Hue's aroma is quiet, even a little somber. But after only one shave, it's vaulted to my favorite scent. The soap's lather is as smooth and creamy as its smell. I got a close, comfortable shave, as fine as any I've ever had. The puck is semi-soft, but not really croapy. Forty swirls with a damp Plissoft brush was perfect for a three-pass shave.
