Bay Rum (Barrister & Mann)
Nearly every soap cooker, at one point or another, feels obliged to produce a bay rum. I'm not really sure why, unless it's a rite of passage. When I skim the daily soap column in this and other forums, it seems that surprisingly few shavers pull out a tub of bay rum with any regularity. For me, it's almost a novelty scent, something to reach for only on Saturdays late in the fall or winter, or whenever Jimmy Buffett comes to town.

Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”
