Castle Forbes Cedarwood and Sandalwood from a sample I received today. The scent was a little light and thankfully so because I didn't enjoy it at all. It was one of those shaves where I just wanted to finish as fast as possible. I splashed on some Leviathan and have been enjoying the beautifully complex scent from that the rest of the evening. I love CF Lavender but wanted to try this one and I'm glad I went for the sample. It will not be used again by me.

Estoril Portuguese shaving cream. I picked this up in Lisbon a few years ago. It is inexpensive but an excellent product.

First shave with Tabula Rasa (tangerine & vetiver in this case). Seems like great stuff, but as I've been doing lately, I loaded too much, and didn't hydrate enough to make up for it. Same happened with AdP the first time. I'm too eager with these firm creams. :-)

AdP from the tub (newest version). I find this one surprisingly difficult to dial in for some reason. First I use too little, next time too much, then today too little again. Jeeeeeez.

Interesting. I do not consider AdP difficult to load. Do you have hard water? Are you face lathering? Type of brush?
