B&M Le Grand Chypre. The scent definitely lingers for about an hour after the shave (no complaints with that).

Back again to Tabac this morning, and what a fantastic shave it was. This soap is classic for a reason.

I got my second B&M soap two days ago and this morning was the first shave with it. It is the B&M Fireside.
As expected it is very easy to make a great lather with good protection. The scent is quite discrete. First there is a choclate note with some citrus that balances it. Then comes the aroma that I associate with different kinds of destilate. During the whole shave there is also a hint of vanilla. The fennel I picked up only in the tin but not during the shave. The fragrances in this soap are brilliantly combinated as they build layers. It will definitely make it into my winter rotation.

This was the second, possibly third, outing with my Barrister and Mann Vetyver Santal shaving soap. There was a beautiful subtle scent of the vetiver, which I just didn't pick up before, that came through and it proved to be a wonderful match for the more robust Guerlain Vetiver EdT. Barrister_N_Mann, this is another winner for me. Smile
