Wow, it looks gorgeous. That knot likes being used and the more you use it the better it will get till it shows it’s full potential.

An omega 10049 is a cheap brush but my goodness it’s a good one.  The knots are somewhat variable but tell me what natural knots aren’t?  What I can say is none of the many 10049 knots I’ve owned have been dogs, just some have been longer to break in.  This one is my wife’s brush but I just had to take it for a spin.  It was excellent on this three year old brush.
