Okay, inquiring minds gotta know. What's the body lotion and Kiel's (?) for that's in most of your pics? Gorgeous brush by the way.
Hahaha, I got you brother! The thing I like MOST about our Shaving Crew is no one is ashamed to say they have a number of products in the arsenal! IMO, more is better when it comes to grooming products! Finding what works for YOU is the most difficult. I have VERY normal skin, winter I get the dry area around my mouth, remedied with a good 100% Shea (thank you FloridaCreekIndian ). I slather SPF on every single day, anything by Cancer Council in Australia (https://www.cancercouncilshop.org.au/category/sunscreen) is good enough for me!
Kiehl’s and Murad have been my standby products for skin care and combating the effects of aging. You get to a point where you know you have to start taking care of yourself. If you spend $500 on a razor, you can afford to spend $100 on some products for your mug...period
We all age, once you embrace it, it unburdens you...
I like Kiehl’s energizing face wash. I’ve tried MANY others, I always go back to it. This face wash has been true to formula for 15 years. It’s gentle for use everyday multiple times a day. I like the pump on the litre size which is what I always purchase, it dispenses the proper amount to wash your face and neck without waste. I think it’s $59 litre HOWEVER you execute Thanksgiving Weekend when everything is buy 1 get 1 half off or buy 1 get 1! The cost basis is much less and a litre lasts me just about a year
Alexandra always gets lotions for me to try out as she knows I like to try anything new in the smell good and moisture/hydrate dept! Bath and Body Works has some fun scents made with essential oils. My current fav is the Stargazing Meditation, it has a patchouli, bergamot and vetiver scent. I’m going with Sage and Mint for the coming week, it’s got a splash of hemp that gives a Eucalyptus overtone
These are some of the things I like; are there better more expensive products? I’m sure there are. I’ve found what relaxes me most is not overthinking simple things that make me happy. Being clean and smelling decent makes me happy!

Awesome info as I have the same issues around the mouth and across my eyebrows including scaling at times. Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70 has helped and I use it daily. Gus GlazedBoker turned me on to it but it's now discontinued and I'm down to 2 bottles so investigating options. Good info and much appreciated Rob !

Lol. Yea no stripes sadly. I do love the brush, you’re right! Good for loading out of smaller tubs and for travel!

Steve turned me on to a real nice natural Shea product however the quick immediate fix is Palmer’s Raw Shea...$6-7 at Target or WalMart...works as good as the $25 stuff(11-14-2020, 12:51 AM)ExtraProtein Wrote:(11-13-2020, 10:00 AM)Dave in KY Wrote: Okay, inquiring minds gotta know.
