For me, as important if not more important than the knot is the brush handle. I prefer synthetics, so once a knot is in the right softness and backbone range (like razorock plissoft), I'm happy. What also gives me joy is the feel of a comfortable brush handle that just "fits" your hand. I prefer longer handles you can wrap your hands around a bit: probably 50mm at the shortest. Here are a few handles I really like:

1) My "daily driver": A Razorock Barber Handle Plissoft

2) An omega bour with a "half hourglass" type of shape? Not sure exactly what to call it. My fingers wrap around it perfectly.

So, what are your favourite/most ergonomic brush handles? or does it not really matter to you? Would be curious to hear.

I really like the shape of Simpson Persian Jar. Love the curves and the feel in my hand.

This brush, by our own Stubble Daddy is hands down the most comfortable one (I have... for me) to hold. It has to be the wide, rounded base... Like the snowball design a few posts up. This just fits in my hand so well.

I happen to have picked a super soft knot, too: The Synbad with a good healthy loft added. It's a dream to use. I absolutely wouldn't call it the best lather producer, but it's competent enough, and coupled with the soft feel, I cannot complain.

That elongated handle with the wide bottom seems like it would make for a firm, comfortable hold. Nice choice!

How's the Cashmere bristles?

Very talented friend of yours! The abalone inlay is a very good touch.
