Exactly Celestino! Hahaha! I wouldn't know how to answer this too, but most probably like Andrew, it would be one of my synthetics.

For a while, my favorite has been a reknoted limited edition Vie Long beehive. It came to me with horsehair but i replaced it with 2 band Badger. The knot is from Romera Brush. The knot is 26mm set at 50mm. It has a good match of scrub, scritch and release. It had developed curled "gel" tip that are super soft.

Tough question. I enjoy all my brushes but I reach for my Simpson Duke 3 Manchurian more than the others.

While I have several brushes this one is one of my best it's a 26X54 Silvertip 2 band. In Addition, I am getting ready to order two more Shavemacs.

I really like all of my brushes, but for a favorite it's probably a tossup between a Rooney 1/2 Faux Horn Finest and a Rooney 3/2 Ebony Finest.

Lately, I have re-discovered a Whipped Dog 24 mm synthetic I’ve had for about 14 months. A modest but wonderful brush. However, today I lathered with a Tuxedo knot + Whipped Dog handle combo for the first time, and was very impressed. The two brushes are quite similar to each other. Here’s the older Whipped Dog (alongside some other gear).

Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

I am absolutely LOVING the Stirling badger brushes. I have the butterscotch fan and the faux ivory bulb and both are great brushes, with the fan knot and classic butterscotch handle edging out into the lead.

I also recently acquired a Zanith best badger in Kotibe wood that has the absolute softest tips of any of my brushes. I thought I was leaving remnants of soap in the brush at the end of my shave with this one but it turns out all the tips are curled over so they look weird, but man is it a soft brush...

Those are currently my top three, and all are new since I last replied to this thread...

When I first started traditional wet shaving, I thought a brush was a brush.  How can people develop Shaving Brush Acquisition Disorder(SBAD?). NOW, I wish I had never found the answer to that question. Tongue I have many more wonderful shaving brushes than I could have ever imagined before.

My absolute favourite is a Romera Rustic Chubby with a 28mm 2-Band Manchurian Fan. This has a very dense knot with plenty of backbone and amazingly soft tips. This is the ultimate in performance and face feel for me.

I enjoy 2-Band Badger knots the most it seems. My other favorites are Shavemac 2-Band Silvertip, Vintage Blades 2-Band Finest, and the recently released
Stirling Finest badger brushes.
