They granolas arrived. Delicious! No wonder they're so pricey with that great ingredient list. But good ingredients need to be paid for.

I saw that Amazon also had a few other keto friendly cereals, but these first.

I had the cinnamon vanilla yesterday with my milk substitute. Again, delicious.

This AM I had the chocolate and it too was delicious. They weren't the only things I had since I needed to jump start my day. I had something with fat in it but not a great deal of fat. I wish I could remember what it was, but that eludes me. Maybe a cherry smoke/grilled leftover burger. Yup, that's what it was.

This AM I had some Peanut Pro-Granola. All flavors are delicious. I was still hungry so I had a thin sliced link of Teton Waters Ranch grass fed beef Kielbasa quick fried with 2 scrambled eggs with S&P and gran' garlic. That was my Keto breakfast. For lunch I ate a large Slim-Jim (greasy meat sausage that never spoils). No idea what I'll have tonight. Maybe just Slaw; it's cabbage and onions with a dressing of vinegar, MCT oil, and spices. Oh, I have a small piece of leftover ham, that would work for the meat for supper. If I didn't eat that would also work.

I'm finding that I really like a largish breakfast with almost nothing for lunch and a smallish supper on Keto. When I'm consuming oil/fat midday I'm not even hungry at suppertime. But I'll lightly graze later at night. I've never experienced this before and it's very unusual for me to not be hungry at eating times. But I've always consumed carbs. I'm liking this Keto diet. It's doable for life. But I do miss my yeast breads. I need to learn to make carb free yeast breads if that's possible. I miss the taste of the yeast.

Although I like hot breakfasts, this morning I enjoyed a bowl of vanilla yogurt with chunks of apple and sliced almonds.

This AM, homemade Canadian bacon with scrambled eggs.

Tomorrow I won't decide on sausages, Can' bacon, or ham until tomorrow, but I'm definitely making pancakes. I just drink water and follow up with a mug of green tea. I can't remember the last time I had coffee, and juice is carbs so it's a no-no for me.

Arrgh! I thought the old scale was pooping itself so I bought a new one. I instantly gained 12# ! I have no idea if it's reporting my weight accurately, but it is extremely consistent.

Blueberry sounds good John. I might do that but I need to watch my carbs (sugar in the berries). We still have berries from last summer in the freezer. But 2 6" pancakes are more than enough for me and not a stack. Heck, I'm doing keto to lose weight and I'm not losing. Since it's still calories in vs calories burned clearly I need to cut back some on the fat intake (I burn fat now). Big Grin I have the weight maintenance down pat for after I reach my goal. Now I want to reach it.

One might ask how on earth can you eat pancakes and stay in ketosis? Carbquik is a low carb all purpose mix based on Carbalose low carb flour. For syrup I've been buying low carb syrup from Amazon. It's better than what I can buy locally (not when compared to the real stuff). When I run out I already know how to make and have tested my own fake low carb syrup. The base is "Fiber Yum" sweetener that has zero net carbs. Give it flavor and it's passable, but the real syrup is much better.

I have my heart set on pancakes, but yesterday I also made the first yeast bread I've made or tasted in 8 months. Yes, it's low carb. The result is nothing to write home about but I think the recipe is incorrect. It did taste OK when it was still warm. I was trying to think how I could work it into my diet to taste it and I'll toast some for lunch. Maybe a grilled cheese? I'll figure it out.

Not for breakfast, but for lunch today I had a tuna sandwich. Eating it in stay-at-home 'lockdown' reminded me of staying in the classroom in elementary school to eat lunch because it was raining outside: the room always smelled like tuna.
