This morning I didn't make the muffin tin donuts for breakfast (I'm craving some junk!), but I had some time this afternoon.

There are 11 on the plate. One volunteered itself for a taste test. It's sacrifice did not go unnoticed.

Yup, they're still as good as I remember. Tomorrow I won't pig out, but I'm off the diet for at least the AM. I might have 2.

Freddy, they just might be worth the flight from San Diego to Maine to have one, or 2.

I'm still on my low-sodium diet. Lunch today was homemade pizza with ground turkey.

Good luck with it John!

The pizza looks good, But I fear that I'd need to add salt. I'm a saltaholic, but salt reduction is part of my process also, though not the main thrust.

Salad night with the miss'us. Big ole' bowl of it. Now ready for a French press of Mexican Chiapas coffee and some pipe time. My old Virginia, burley and Latakia blend. Hits the spot. Then it's off to work tomorrow. Bummer

I never had salmon in a wrap, but it sounds interesting and delicious.

In the morning oatmeal pancakes are planned with choice of strawberry/raspberry/currant syrup; and on Wednesday a friend is coming over to visit and help make, and share in, cheese perogies. We made the farmers cheese a few months ago (frozen) and she's headed to a beach to the south, so it's clearly time to make them before it warms up here. For folks from the old country perogies were an everyday staple, but for us they're a treat. 55 years ago grandmom could turn them out by the dozen and not break a sweat.

Tonight we had warm roasted chicken and cauliflower salad with spinach, lentils, chopped dates, and slivered almonds. Strange combination, but it works. I only ate half of my bowl, so I have leftovers for lunch tomorrow.
