Roughly 5 hours I believe, in the Northwest corner of the boot. Hopefully me and the wife will make a trip to Austin one day, always wanted to visit.

Burgers and beers always on call if you make it this way [long as I'm actually in town!].

Never had the small lobsters but they sure do look good!

I can't get enough rabbit food lately, but to take a break from salad I had a BLT. The way I make it It's like a salad sandwich, so I satisfied my craving for greens and my craving for a BLT.

Sounds good, how is the music scene. Seems like there is a big Texas country festival I've heard about...

When you cross into city limits they stop you, issue a guitar and won't actually let you in until you learn a quick 12 bar blues progression. If you can't pick it up they re-route you to Dallas Wink Great music scene and a ton of talent in and around the city.

I believe everyone should treat their taste buds to the cuisine of South Louisiana at least once. It is much more than just a taste, it's a way of life and culture found no where else.

Last night's dinner at Drago's in New Orleans. Charbroiled oysters and blackened duck rare and oysters over linguini with garlic cream sauce.
