Recently purchased the inexpensive Lord L6 DE razor, the one with the Merkur type head. What a wonderful, mid-aggression shaver, just a joy to use. It has a long, light-weight, pencil thin, aluminium handle which makes the razor head heavy, but, counter-intuitively the handle just works and affords the razor agility and comfort in use; the shaving angle falls readilly to hand and the quality of the shave is superb. I now understand why the Lord L6 gets so much love. A real diamond in the rough — this razor jumps up and down, on top of a hill, waving a flag - shouting, you really can get a superb shave for not very much.
