Rex Ambassador + GSB (1)
5th straight day using this since being delivered late last week. I've gotten this dialed-in with GSB to the point I can say this could be a daily driver for me. However, it still has more blade feel than I prefer. It's simply a "it's all about what I like" thing at this point. That being said, I love this razor for being what it is, and I'm glad it exists in the market.
I care mostly about smoothness as the vast majority of my weeks involve 6 shaves. For the past couple years, I've almost exclusively used Rockwell 6S #4 plate daily, and #6 plate on uncommon occurrences it's been 72 or more hours since previous shave. I have sold or gifted 8 razors in the last 6 months, and am currently down to 3 in my den (with a polished Haircut & Shave Co. N075 ordered last night). My quest for a smooth, high build quality/fit & finish daily driver good enough overall to displace my 6S continues.
