Easy....voskhod blade in the EJ89. I got 1 aggressive shave and then it was all down hill from there. The second shave I was begging for mercy. Just make it stop!

The one that was the biggest disappointment was Feather, but the worst was one called Balaka. Anyone else ever hear of it?

I’ve heard of Balaka, but know nothing about it, except that apparently they are made in Bangladesh.

Sorry to hear that the Feather was a disappointment. I love those blades, but it’s a divisive one, for sure.

Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

I have no clue what happened with the Voskhod blades but I bought 10 pack from ebay the first time and I loved them because they were smooth and decently sharp and lasted for good 3-4 shaves. Naturally I ended up buying 400 more and turned out they were disappointment, lots of tugging on the first shave so naturally their smoothness didn't matter.

I tried opening from the other boxes thinking maybe bad batch, nope same story. Turns out that either a big batch went bad or they are very inconsistent throughout the whole manufacturing process... I ended up selling them, they were not fakes, they were genuine, just badly manufactured blades.

Sharks for me. I've had some pretty bad blades, shark are high amongst them. Find them too rough

YMMV as always, I tried a Rockwell blade which came in the grey and white box and found them reasonably smooth and sharp for around 5 shaves.

Since Rockwell take a lot of pride in "listening to the customer", is it possible that they changed manufacturer after the initial feedback. Why would they take pains to have a shitty blade using swedish steel.

Derby and Derby Professional are the worst blades I've ever used. No other blades even come close.

Worst to date was Zorrik. Very dull and tugged its way through my stubble. Half a pass and the blade got tossed. Dorcos and Derbys shave better.

On a positive note: i once had a horrible and bloody shave with Lord Platinum. 3 or so years later and they're my favorite blades! Dont be afraid to try a bad blade again down the road with your new razors, you might be surprised.
