I do not currently have a titanium Vector but I am intrigued by it and hope to get one when they come back in stock.  My current SE is a Paradigm ti.  One of the things that intrigues me about the Vector is its small size. The Paradigm is a beast. That said, I cannot imagine myself liking the handle that comes with the razor. It just looks slippery to me. I would love to put an aristocrat style handle on it. Ideally, the UFO little Titan would fill the bill perfectly. However, there are none of those to be found. What are you guys using as a handle for the titanium Vector?

Can anyone post a picture with a Vector head on a Wolfman Darwin or a WRH7? I wonder how that would look.

I use the titanium handle. I agree it is a little different, but that is part of the Vector's appeal to me. I also use the long, skinny Yates handle for my 921 razor. It is polished SS and it IS slippery.

But I cannot help you on handle choices, as I don't have the ones mentioned in your second post. I do have a titanium Timeless handle as well as a TiBam handle. My other handles are brass (Karve) and a couple of vintage Gillette handles. I have never thought of putting a different handle on when I had the intended handle. Is that allowed? Lol!

The titanium Vector handle is slippery for me, the polished one anyway. I've never dropped it but it doesn't feel secure in the hand.

Should have got a machined one to match my Sabre.

It looks pretty good sitting on the 7. How is the balance? Have you actually shaved with the combo? Lastly, do you have a Wolfie Darwin in the den? Thanks Matt!

No, I haven't shaved with it Dean. It's rather handle heavy or head light as that's a SS handle. If I had a Wolfman titanium handle I might try it out.

Sorry no Darwin.

I had an SS Vector, early on.  The head weighed only 17 grams.  Matched with the 80 mm 30 g TiBam Ti handle shown below, it was very well balanced at 47 g.  I can't understand why anyone would want a razor head that weighs less than 17 g.  If I were going to buy a Vector, for balance I would want an SS head with a Ti handle.  I do not like the Vector handle at all, but Blackland Razors will not sell the Vector head without it.

SS is definitely light enough, but titanium gives you complete control over pressure and blade engagement. Just about all the pressure you have with the Vector Titanium comes from your hand which is a unique sensation. Not necessary, but we’re well beyond necessary at this point.
