What do you think about this? I have the soap and a/s and after a few usages, I think it smells like Nasomatto Baraonda.

This is seriously good stuff.

I haven’t worn mine for 2-3 years.

You inspired me start to wear my Bond No.9 fragrances again. I think I own 17 or 18 Bonds. They collect dust in my fragrance cabinet. Will start to wear them again.

Bond No. 9 Riverside Drive

I simply love this stuff. Haven’t worn it for many years.

It reminds be of a combination of Chanel Platinum Egoiste and Kiton for men but with an added fresh green basil note.

I hear the new version is watered down. Surprise surprise

My version from 2011 lasts many many hours.
8-10 hours longevity and great silage.

I really love this fragrance. Very deep, rich yet still vibrant and fresh.

I had my first wearing yesterday of Sutton distilled and to be honest I have randomly sniffed Baraonda a couple of times but too hard to recall the exact profile. Though both have some notes of whiskey I found Sutton distilled to be more woody, Oak barrel kind of profile.

Bond No 9 has had some really good releases over the years that I have enjoyed such as New Harlem, Chez Bond, Central Park, Eau de NY, Cooper Square, Fire Island, Riverside Drive & Bleeker St. Notice that they are all early 2000 releases and like you, the older stuff is much better in quality and performance over their releases post 2012 and up. Don't get me wrong as they still produce some quality juice like Greenwich Village, TriBeCa and Scent of Peace Natural but, I prefer their older releases and use the few that I have left sparingly to make them last a bit longer. Of the 4-5 that I have remaining I will not be replacing them with their current batches if they're still in production. Bleeker St is the last of my bottles that's pre 2010. And it's my favorite from this house. Sad day when it's gone....

Have always had an aversion to Bond No 9, mainly due to the bold branding and attention grabbing bottle shape to be honest.

One of the best subfora in all shaving was dedicated to fragrances on the now defunct ShaveNook. Claus CHSeifert was a prominent member of an illustrious fellowship of frag heads posting there regularly. It was Claus that recommended this house when seeking a citrus bomb with legs.

Have come to appreciate the House of Bond even if yet wrestling with cognitive dissonance over the branding.

Never did express my appreciation to Claus for his sage advice on various matters of fragrance over the years.

Thank you bud.
