My second scent out of my Tauer Sampler- Tauer L’Eau

I’m enjoying this scent as I wear it throughout the day. I really like the Lemon, and it’s turned into a warm/creamy scent on my skin. This is one that I think I would enjoy in the Fall/Winter, so my search for a good Summertime Scent continues.

Though technically an aftershave, the fact that I applied this at around four in the afternoon yesterday and could still smell it when I woke up this morning makes it, well, a scent of the day, methinks…

TheHunter, have you ever tried Green Irish Tweed (GIT) by Creed. It is a great summer scent!

Clamorgan is my very favorite Barbershop type Aftershave! The scent of this is outstanding and Chatillon Lux is probably my very favorite Aftershave as far as performance is concerned. I’ve actually considered buying all unscented Soaps from my favorite vendors and just pairing it with whatever CL Aftershave strikes my fancy that day. I love it, and I’m upset with myself that I only bought two. Hopefully hawns will be willing to offer more this coming No Shave/November. I think it’s an instant Classic and I would hate to be without it in my Den.

Whiskey Sour I’ve never tried Green Irish Tweed before, but from what I hear it’s pretty much a classic. Definitely on my short list to try, I’m going to see if I can find a sample somewhere online. Thanks for the suggestion!

I was just thinking today that it would be nice if this could make another appearance in November of this year. Smile

To my senses, I would place Clamorgan more in the “gourmand” scent category than “barbershop,” but placing it in any category is a bit tricky, as the scent evolves noticeably, at least on my skin.

I love how everyone perceives things differently, and I enjoy hearing people’s takes on scents. To my uneducated nose, when I smell Clamorgan I get- Citrus, Herbs, Leather! The one thing I am sure of is that I definitely enjoy it!

Definitely the aldehydes in that scent make it pretty tenacious. And thank you, I would be happy to bring it back if people wanted.

I am in Kyoto again, but today with Comme des Garcons & Kyoto (incense, cedar, cypress). Very nice.
