Hey LOOT, What gap? Any thoughts on the performance of the WR2 1.55 SB, when compared to a WR1 .94 OC?
The WR1 94OC cuts like a WR2 1.35... slightly less than a 135. The 155 cuts closer than any 3piece razor I've tried. Only a couple of my adjustables remove hair better than the 155.
Dont let the 155 gap spook you, the WR2 is very smooth especially on the second pass.
The 94OC is not quite as smooth as a 135. It has more blade feel and the feel is consistent throughout the shave. The WR2 head can and does lose blade feel on the ATG pass. There is certainly enough to locate and maintain the edge tho.
The WR2 head is taller and heavier than the WR1 so if you are particular on balance, it certainly something to consider.
Even at 155 the WR2 can be be relatively mindless. A 94OC requires a little more attention.
Both are fantastic shavers, best two head I've used, by far...they just go about it a little differently.
Hope this helps.
James
