As a fellow member of this forum and hobby, I have a certain suspicion about why such an acquisition would be necessary…  Wink

Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

I have some more pinning materials and a jewelers loupe coming from Maggard's. I ruined quite a bit of pinning rod material trying to do this last razor, so I got some more rods en route, and I have 3 vintage blades that are giving me issues on the hones, so I got a loupe so I can more closely inspect the edges and see what is going on better...hopefully...

I have some Pecksniff shaving "creams" (said to be more like soaps) coming, which the seller, who only charged me the shipping cost, describes as "wretched."  I'm looking forward to playing around with them.

Chris, I think you'll like the loupe.  I added one to an order not expecting much, but was surprised and impressed with how nice it really is.   I've since added the loupe again to another Maggard Razors order.

Here's what I had "Out for Delivery" today:

OK I will! I'm doing it alongside a Roebeson Straight I am restoring as well so I'll post them as a set as that is how I am doing them!

After getting some vintage Floris Elite tallow shaving soap, I had to find some matching vintage aftershave.  It's on the way.
