Maggard has Noble Otter back in stock so I've grabbed The Trail and The Noir et Vanille. Barbarr and Lonestar are also in the way from Top of the Chain but were purchased weeks ago.

I also have some more soaps coming from The Club. Namely The Novelist and American Pie.

Nice set!

I picked up a Ranger Tech a couple of years ago, but mine doesn't have a stitch of plating on it.  Rolleyes

Yours looks really nice!  Instruction booklet, Too!  Congrats!

Thanks Rob. I am looking forward to its maiden shave.

Some Phoenix Accoutrements Chella Cool aftershave. I had asked for ideas for almond aftershave, and this was recommended. It is mentholated, which I wasn't really looking for, but I'll give it a try.

Well, despite my efforts to downsize my shaving stuff - and even though I also had just ordered the PA Chella Cool aftershave - once I gave in to curiosity and went to the Hemingway Accoutrements site and spun the wheel and got 15% off, and then remembering too how much I had enjoyed having a Hemingway Mont Blanc fountain pen in the past... I just had to order the box set of shaving cream, tonic, and balm.

A puck of vintage Mohawk shaving soap is coming.  It's another old tallow-based one that I've wanted to try.  And at $5, it's a cheap experiment.

I've got some more stuff coming in from Peter Charkalis' Shaving Shop, namely the new Spartacus soap (Creed Aventus scented), accompanying splash, Summer Fig splash and American Pie splash.

I've been on a sort of tobacco scent roll lately. I don't know what triggered it (perhaps use of Cigar Aficionado aftershave), but I began remembering when I first started college many decades ago, standing around at formal pre-dinner gatherings at my faculty advisor's house, everyone wearing ties or bowties and blazers with leather elbow patches, sipping sherry and smoking pipes and trying to sound erudite about literature. A Southern California surfer trying to be Ivy League sophisticated. So I've now ordered some Cavendish shaving soap, just from nostalgia.
