OK, fasten your seatbelts, gentlemen.  Paid for and soon to be shipped to me are eighteen - yes, 18 (!) - Rooney Finest brushes, from another collector who decided it was time to unload some possessions. They include some Polos, Emillions, Stubbies, and a Beehive, among others. I paid a fortune for them, but I guess they're an investment. I'll probably put up 6-8 brushes for sale sometime soon to bring my Finest total down to a more "reasonable" 30 or so for my regular rotation.

Never have I had such a haul...

I think you have great photo skills, and if you can somehow fit all the brushes into one shot, I think it will be quite legendary.

I had to pick up a Barrister and Mann Bay Rum Set. I heard supply will get fairly scarce for a while.

I don't think that the Gillette NEW LC goes with the Gillette box? The box is a Gillette Palmolive-Peet Co. premium. The boxed premiums(free with purchase of shaving cream or soap) with a Gillette NEW razor inside have,"NEW Gillette Razor" printed on the front of the box. If I'm wrong about that, please feel free to educate me. Anyway, the box is in really great shape. The razor head looks unused with just fine scratches to the lacquer from the box. The handle is split, but can be repaired for use. I plan to use the razor or at least the head.

Starting off in the deep end of slants eh? I haven't used one, but from what I've read, it's an aggressive/efficient razor. Have fun with it!

On topic, I have a RazoRock titanium Baby Smooth on the way. Excited to give it a whirl.
