I use one for a blade bank - others I refill with pucks, works very well. I also have 2 teenage boys in the house, so i rarely see an empty one, or one for more than a week or two, for what it is worth.

If I had an empty tub I'd probably turn it into one of those bowls you put your keys and loose change in!

I use them , tubs like from Trumpers or Taylors, to hold samples that I get from ,say, Shavedash. I found ordering two samples fills out the bottom well enough to get a good idea and they're wide enough as well. I use old black Truefitt & Hill ones, take a cotton ball soaked in Orange or lime essential oil and completely remove all the writing and then "decant" my Coates creams out of those tubes whose caps tend to break into the black tubs then my wife writes what's in them in gold or silver sharpie

Transfer other soaps to them like Cella. Or for non-widemouth ones, I give them to my better half. She starts seedlings in them, repots them when they get big, repeat.

Every one from the simple line drawings on Scritchnscrub's Desmond's Barrow metal tins to the instantly recognizable green lids of ezlovan's Stirling to DeclarationGrooming's L&L Grooming to Ryan @ Tallow + Steel's Tallow + Steel, to Barrister_N_Mann's Barrister and Mann gorgeous artwork to classics like Taylor of Old Bond Street and Geo. F. Trumper creams seem to be worth saving for other uses, but what?  Does anyone have good ideas?

I know most people either refill them or use them to bowl lather... I am currently looking for an empty tub myself because I have some Williams pucks laying around with nothing to put them in and or also one to use as a lather bowl.

Doing ABC theme shaves in another neighborhood which led me to start a second ABC tub. Keeping tracking of the soap samples going into it and ensuring every letter of the alphabet is in the names at least once. It's a sickness.............

When I said "throw it in the trash" I meant "recycle" which is what we do after reusing a zip-lock bag hundreds of times rather than just one!
