My sense of smell is pretty weak this happen after my by-pass. I do not chose a soap based on what the scent be liked. Stirlings' soaps I can smell. I chose according to the ingredients that make the soap, such as citrus, florals, woodsy etc. Secondly I'm attracted to strange named soaps.

I do not usually go by reviews that show the lather, reviews on how it shaves, post shave feeling are more important to me. I tend to chose among the artisans are spoken of highly.

I tend to get more out of a well done written review than most video reviews so I scour the Internet for that type of information. Like you said, it really can be just the way that someone describes it that seals the deal.

Pretty much exactly this.
