You know I have to ask. How is the scent on that one?

If I may chime in, the first time I used Briar, the scent was familiar, but I could not figure out what it reminded me of. That all changed when the Mrs. said I smell like French toast. That was it! French toast with maple syrup. Maybe not your run-of-the-mill kind. A slightly more exotic version of French toast, or maple syrup on steroids. Smile

Anyway, that’s my take. Jeff, what say ye?

Not for me then. I love french toast and maple syrup but wouldn't want to shave with it.

Of course the scent could differ a bit depending on the person wearing it, which is why I’m interested in hearing Jeff’s take on it. But I was expecting something else based on the description of Briar that I had read. I haven’t tried Eh+, but in my mind, Briar wouldn’t be too far off from that description…

Hobbyist and Matsilainen, to me it's a sweeter, more vanillic (is that a word?) pipe tobacco scent. But Matthew, now that you mention it, the exotic french toast description does fit! I find it to be a warm scent that would work better in colder temps and it does have staying power. Again, it's nice, but probably not one I would buy a full bottle of.
