Never even heard of this. Definitely not cheap! Interesting I see it used a lot in nicotine products when I google it as their neutral additive.
I got a couple packs of it for about $10 years ago. I did see that it has outrageous at this point.

Edit-I just saw it on AliExpress for $13 for 20 g. You literally need next to nothing on the top of the soap. Just A pinch.

Don't ever waste bloom water. It contains valuable water soluble ingredients you do not want to lose.
