Hello all,

I'm going to be in Chicago this upcoming weekend for a friends bachelors party and was wondering if anyone knew any good physical stores that sell wet shaving supplies. We're going down to Wrigley Field to catch a game so around that area preferably.

Also wouldn't mind some great suggestions for the best deep dish pizza around. Thanks

Merz is the place to go in Chicago: http://merzapothecary.com/locations/. You definitely want the store on North Lincoln.  It's around the corner from the Western stop of the "El" Brown Line or about 3 miles, if driving to/from Wrigley Field.

I even enjoy just getting their catalog. Its neat to see so may items that I love presented in a printed catalog form. I flick through it a few dozen times. They also have a bunch of other neat items as well. Here is the link to the online store - http://www.smallflower.com

As well as Merz, it might also be worth popping by Merchant and Rhoades (formerly Truefitt and Hill). They have a beautiful store.

IDK about Wet Shave stores, but Lou Malnati's is a staple of Chicago, there is also this place http://chicagopizzaandovengrinder.com/ (which i have never eaten at). Beyond that, there is also Giordano's that makes a good deep dish pizza as well.

I was at the cubs game on Saturday when they were facing the Atlanta Braves. What an experience for my first baseball game. Great people there too. Great time all around

Hey Norm,

I didn't see your post until I got back but I did eat at both Lou Malnati's and Giordano's lol.  Lou Malnati's was amazing first night we got in, highly recommended.

Giordano's on the other hand was a totally different story. To make a long story short, we got screwed over. They literally forgot about our pizza and when they finally brought it out, it was luke warm at best. It honestly tasted like frozen pizza cooked in the oven. Terrible. Not sure if it was because my friends and I were tourists or for other reasons but needless to say that place left a bad taste in my mouth.

Wow, that sucks, I have usually had decent experiences, but to give you an idea of preference, I am currently eating Lou's right now while I am working. Smile
