I just received this 304 SS razor from Wet Shaving Club last night. This razor is designed and made by Robert Bennett in the USA and is being sold by the Wet Shaving Club for $59.99.
Initial impressions on this razor.
Fit and Finish- The tolerances are very tight, the blade is loaded onto the baseplate similar to Wolfman Guerilla or RR Gamechanger. The blade is clamped tightly and very close to the edge of the blade. It lined up perfectly with no adjustments needed. There is overhang of the blade tabs on the edges. The sandblasted finish is very well done and even throughout the razor.
How it shaves- This is a very smooth razor with minimal blade feel. I would rank it on the mild side of medium aggressiveness but it delivered a very easy 3 pass WTG,XTG, ATG Shave. There is no blade chatter at all. The handle provides very good grip even when wet, it is on the shorter side, but is very well balanced. I will need to use this for a few shaves but my first impression is if you are a daily shaver and are looking for comfort and don’t mind doing a 3 pass shave this razor is worth looking into. Here are a few pics, one next to my Timeless Ti to give some perspective of size.

Great pictures Mark and thanks for your initial impressions. I was not aware that there was a wet shavers subscription service available which shows how far shaving has progressed. The excellent pictures you posted reminded me of the Razorock Baby Smooth tip cap paired with the flattened GameChanger base plate so I’d expect a shave on the mild side of efficiency. Good luck with your new toy.

It continues to surprise me -- not in a good way -- that so many razor makers do such a crap job with the handles. Many heads are great, and the handles are a let-down. I know it is all subjective, but this one looks like a metal cigar.

I emailed Robert, the gentleman who makes this razor, and it is a neutral blade exposure with a 0.02 inch blade gap. After getting a few shaves under my belt I am finding this a very enjoyable daily driver and it’s a great price for a 304 SS razor made in the USA.

It is a fully machined razor, made in the US, for only $60. I imagine you would have to make a pretty basic looking handle with minimal cuts to keep the price that low.  I do agree with your comments when it comes to several of the razors currently available. I just think there is a good reason in this particular instance.

I must say I am enjoying the minimalist handle, with the sandblasted finish it has very good grip and the balance is perfect.

I like the length of the handle. Most of the razors coming out now have handles that are way too long. I’ve thought about getting one of these as a travel razor, but I only do 2 WTG passes, so it might be too mild for me.

Another wonderful shave tonight with this razor. It is so smooth and mild yet still gave me a 3 pass BBS. Finished up with a sample of Dragonsbeard unscented Ethos Skin food for a fabulous shave. If you prefer a milder razor ie. Mamba, Feather ASD2 or lower gap Wolfies this is a wonderful daily driver that is easy to find the perfect shave angle and I have used nothing like Frank’s skin food it has replaced all my AS

It's sharp and it cuts. I like it...
Northeast, USA
A new collaboration between Wet Shaving Club & Yates Precision. Magnetic handle and a limited edition engraved US flag on the top cap looks to be available soon. 316 SS for under $100 is not a bad deal at all......
