I have a 1920's Old Type kit in really good condition. I believe this is an approximately 1928 Brownie Set in a custom printed case. There is no way to guarantee the year, other than late 1920's as there are no patent numbers, no serial nos, and no date codes. The razor is in very good condition, with no pressure cracks in the handle, no microfissures, no bent teeth, and no rips or tears in the case.  There is the beginning of plate loss in spots on the top cap and also on the bottom side of the blade holder, but otherwise the plating is in fine condition. The handle compartment of the case has some limited lifting of the velour interior, but no rips, inside or outside the case.

This razor provides an excellent, close shave, and is in really good condition all around. Even at the lower end, this Brownie set would go for $50-60, or more.

I'm looking to trade for an equal-value vintage straight. I would prefer a square point, full or extra hollow, 5/8 or bigger in shave-ready condition, but I am definitely open to offers.

I would also be very interested in any kamisori type straights.

I am open to offers. Each would pay their own shipping with tracking.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to PM.

I would also be willing to toss in a Merkur 37c in as-new condition and/or a GEM G Bar with about 25 PTFE coated blades and/or cash to bridge the gap in value as necessary...

For the right price, I would be willing to sell the Old Type straight up, but I am not in a hurry to get rid of it, so a cash sale will be for high value, or not at all...

I'm really starting to move away from safety razors towards straights, so if you have something in mind, make me an offer!

Bump...

No further offers for a trade here, so I am now entertaining offers for cash sales. If you want an excellent condition Old Type set, make me an offer I can refuse...

Alright...I'm going way out on a limb here...

I also have a 1940's Super Speed in excellent condition, notched but no date code, so it is between 1948 and 1950. No plate loss. No scratches. Functions true and perfectly. Shaves like a champ!

This Super Speed and the Old Type Brownie kit brings the value of this offer up into the $75 range. Both razors are in really good condition with no cracks, chips, deep scratches, pitting or plate loss.

Lets make a deal!
