As explained in another thread when I got these, I intended to buy just a few razors in a box at auction, then the auctioneer picked up the whole box to sell as a lot instead of individually. I have set aside the razors I was after and now must sell the ones that are copies of razors I have previously owned, or razors I dont maintain in my collections.
None of these are museum pieces. They are all user grade. Most have staining but are corrosion free (save for one). My hopes for these razors are for forum members to buy them to gift to people who are oblivious to our hobby. I have found no better wet shave converter than a 5 pack of blades and a vintage Super Speed. That in mind, I have tried to price them reasonably, for the purposes of bundling (as a seller) and gifting (for the seller). I want them all to go away. I want them all to find a happy home. And I want shavers in DFS land to relieve them from me
I prefer PayPal. I prefer CONUS only. $5.00 flat fee for a single razor purchase. $3.00 per razor for multiple razors up to 3.(meaning I wont charge over 9 bucks for shipping)
Trade offers are entertained for similarly valued items. I am on the hunt for a new tub of B&M Latha black label. Also interested in good condition user grade Old Types, Big Fellows, and slants. (already have a 37c)
Also, they have all been scrubbed multiple times with a baking powder/dish soap/toothbrush concoction. They are shave ready to my standards. When contacting me for a purchase, help me out by identifying the specific razor you want, ie the E4 Fatboy or the X3 SuperSpeed.
Gillette Techmatic. It is adjustable. Roundly panned as a horrible shaver and the only blade available is NOS. Pretty much just a wall hanger and a conversation piece. $10.00
The 1912 Gem and EverReady are $5.00 for the pair. The handles are perfect but the caps are losing their spring tension to hold the blade tight. The plastic handled Gem is in like new condition but looks to have been used only a couple of times. There was some odd corrosion that ate part of the safety bar. It does feel smooth tho the touch where it would make contact with the face. $5.00 Then the MMOC. Light scuffing on the lid but otherwise perfect. $5.00
Flare Tip Super Speeds. $10.00 a piece. Light staining on them. The B3 is missing an end cap and has a touch more brassing than the others.
A Super Speed, a Fat Handled Tech, and a Black Tip Super Speed. The last BTSS I had was aluminum and felt cheaply made and very light. This one it not. $10.00 a piece. The Krona has more than the usual staining. While it is not quite visually appealing, it has zero corrosion. Its just not shiny and sparkly, yet is 100% operational. $5.00
2 Fatboys and 2 Slims. Some staining. All have their full range of clicks. All seem to operate as they should. $25.00 for a Fatboy, $20.00 for a Slim. If you want to buy one of these, look further up in the ad and pick up a cheap razor for your neighbor. I bet he would like it !FATBOYS SOLD!
