UPDATE - all items sold!
Hi everyone -
Some items up for sale today. These prices include CONUS shipping via USPS Priority Mail with tracking. Unfortunately, I can only ship the Paladin Sumo internationally because the aftershaves in the other bundles contain alcohol.
1. Paladin Sumo in Faux Briar. 24mm knot/50.5 loft/47mm free loft. Paladin's two-band knots are the best out there, in my opinion. And the handles aren't too shabby either! I have not found another handle that is as well polished and shiny as Paladin's. The Sumos are great brushes because they are one of the few Paladins that have a 24mm knot but without the handle being squat. In fact this is one of the most ergonimic handles I have used. These are currently sold out (just as all Paladins are), but when in stock these retail for $140. It has not lost a hair and comes with the original tube. $140.
2. Barrister & Mann Adagio soap/aftershave bundle. These have been used 4 times. From the most recent release, Adagio is a great scent for late spring and early summer. From B&M's website: "Fragrant blossoms and fruits perfume the air and the very ground itself seems to radiate a cool, calm scent when the sun goes down. Adagio is the combination of all these scents made solid, a “cool green fruit” fragrance consisting of lime, cherry, violet leaf absolute, lily of the valley, and a beautiful floral musk called Galaxolide. The scent is rounded off with a light mentholated coolness, not super cold but enough to refresh the face in the swelteringly hot weather of Summer." I agree with this description completely, especially the "floral musk"; it really does smell like the greenness of cut stems or bushes. This retails as a bundle for $33.28 without shipping included. According to B&M Adagio will be discontinued in September and may not be made in the future. $30.
3. Barrister & Mann "42" soap/aftershave bundle. Used 4 times as well. Named after the "answer" to the "Ultimate Question of Life, The Universe, and Everything" from the Hitchhiker's Guide to Galaxy books, the scent profile is: petunias, ambergris, tea, and Pan-Galactic Gargle Blaster (lemon sugar). It creates a lemon-y tea top note with a smoky basenote. Another great soap for late spring/early summer. These currently go for $19 for each, exclusive of shipping costs. They are currently sold out at B&M's site but available on other retailers. $30.
4. Musgo Real shaving cream/aftershave splash/pre-shave oil. Used three times. Musgo Real is one of the really underrated product lines out there in my opinion. The cream has lanolin in it, which is still one of the only top-end creams that include it. The splash is very nourishing (with aloe, witch hazel, and echinacea) and not bracing and their pre-shave oil is actually one of the few pre-shave treatments I like. They recently upgraded their look to a very art deco style and it fits in my opinion. The scent is described as vetiver and patchouli but to me it has always smelled like fresh-cut grass. I purchased the cream for $18, the aftershave for $40, and the pre-shave oil for $30, a total of $88. $50.
As always, feel free to comment on my descriptions and pricing in this thread. If you have any other questions, please PM me.
Thanks for looking,
Josh
