BBS-1 razor (#17) with mirror-polished stand

This is the first razor-design machined by James Dufour (Wolfman Razors), in collaboration with L.A. Shaving Soap Company (LASSC).  This razor is #17 (double-engraved on the base-plate).  I believe that there were less than 400 made in total, so this is a rare razor and one of the very earliest ones.  I am the original owner, and you can see that the business card from John Brown (of LASSC) is personalized with my name (Peter).

Included are the original documentation (personalized LASSC business card & instructions) and accessories (small synthetic brush & 5-pack of Feather blades, though soap is not included).

Note: The stand was purchased directly from James Dufour (Wolfman Razors).  I'm not sure if it's the same as the BBS-1 stand that was originally sold by LASSC, but I think that it is (though this one is mirror-polished, while the one sold by LASSC may have been brushed).  This stand is the same as WRA1 stand (mirror polished), with the hole drilled (by James) specifically for the BBS-1 handle.  The BBS-1 handle is a bit narrower than the Wolfman handles, so the hole in a standard WRA1 stand would be a bit bigger than desired, so this has a slightly smaller diameter hole drilled specifically for the BBS-1 handle (again, by James, so directly from the source).

Asking $1,500.00 (shipped & insured, CONUS only)

Please PM me with any questions.  Thanks for looking!
