By and large, I do not need to extensively advertise British RFBs for our community, we know this razor value and its qualities. My lousy iphone photos do not do justice, the razor looks much better in real life. Because I have a few similars, I am finally ready to part with my British Gillette New raised flat bottom (RFB) #77 with the bakelite brown case and blade banks (1945, No77, thin Tech handle, Brit.Pat. 363 892, 47g, 8.1cm in length, Made in England) – see mr-razor.com/Rasierer/The%20NEW/1945%20(P2%20on%20blade)%20NEW%20No77%20thin%20Tech%20handle.JPG. This 80-year old exceedingly rare razor is in great condition. The only deficiencies are the tiny plating loss on the bottom of the top cap and the miniscule crack in the case (shown in the photos). A corner tooth appears to be slightly misaligned relative to others. Otherwise, very close to a collector’s grade, shiny, solid, shaves like a dream, $97.5, shipped in CONUS, PayPal.
