Want to Sell Black Eagles, Morris & Forndrans, Paladin, Shavemac

Hi there all shavers, It's time for me to sell off some gear that sadly don't get the appriciation and use it deserves. I will start of with some brushes.

  What goes for all of them here is that noone has any scratch, dent or wear of any kind. All of them are unused besides the paladin that has one go on my face. I consider   them all as more or less new. Well, each brush is described, but if you have any questions, just send me a pm.

 Trackable shipping to USA and Europe from Sweden. For this I ask for a symbolic 5$ US or 4,50 Euro which is less than a quarter of the actual cost .
I Will, of course send to most other places too, and that we discuss in PM if so.
 Shipping from Sweden with Post Nord and normal shipping time is 5-7 days to USA according to the courier, and usually 3-4 days to EU. Custom halts and such at the destination excluded.

  I don't have the original box (as for yet, but will look for it in the garage if I get the time) for any besides the Sears brush , so I will send them in a Simpson box, with very   serious padding/protection and then some. After all it isn't the box we lather with

Lion shape,28mm Exclusive badger two band Bulb

Only 8 of these were made. 4 bulbs and 4 fans. Not a HT knot, but a nonetheless a rare one.

Never used on face and only lathered two times. Once when i got it from Bradley (BES), and once for cleaning (with simpson neutral soap) before i put it up for sale here.
Been kept in a closed protective cabinet as all my brushes.

D01’s are dense, a two band is tough to take, but the 3 band rivals Manchurian knots of 10 years ago.  Fan shape, of course the knot itself is worth ~130 EUR… this would be a great bowl lathering brush.

Does it have any scritch ? A lot of backbone?

Knot looks more like a hybrid one than fan to me. 3 band D01 would have good density and the hair would be softer compared to a 2 band D01.

That's right. It is a lil bit of a hybrid that Bernd made for me.  Slightly less bulby than the regular hybrids. I have other brushes with this knot so I can answer the one who asked about it's characteristics. After some use it becomes a big pile of clouds with a great backbone without being stiff. I have never noticed any scritch in the other knots I have. At this loft (54mm) they do themself the best in my opinion. The golden way or "lagom" as we say here in Sweden . It binds a fair amount of lather, so a perfect one for a three pass or why not four.

Even a Shavemac fan looks like a hybrid, but their flattop looks more like a fan to some who like that.  

Would be a great brush, I really like Shavemac.

Nothing at all compareble between flattops and fans no, no and no. Bernd's flattops are shaped from totally different chars and with other hairs used due to his none trimming mantra. A flattop of ANY brand are and looks nothing like any fan as it NEED other hairs to be functional and for so is constructed per se.
I described that it was a special request from me to Bernd to make a hybrid of MY taste, IE slight bulbed fan with a bit stiffer hairs at the outside of the "circle". That I have in a couple more knots from him and what it ends up as is that the splay are a bit more controlled but still "opened" without the needed pressure as in a Bulb. Anyway, It is sold now, so off to the rest of the brushes.
 
Some have asked me about the Paladin and how I can know what knot is in it if I don't have the certificate. I do because it was the only (Paladin) knot I was after that year and finally got it. So it is that knot and nothing else. I've tried to find the reciept from my account at Dark Holler designs, but it was cleared out from history for some reason. My memory is the insurance for that, and it's one hell of a good memory this basterd carry around .
